„Lawyer Bojic had a conversation with certain people, and by the findings of special public prosecution, he revealed an official secret. Other messages were more important here, having in mind the importance and the contents of these messages. There were statements which pointed out that security of some lawyers is endangered. Some persons suggested that “one head has to fly”, and that “one person is hitting the nail in the coffin”. I had to act to eliminate this danger”, said Katnic in TV show “nacisto”.
Katnic added that a campaign was started in Kosljun case to cancel the verdict not by appealing, but by “planting false evidence that one judge committed a crime”. Katnic didn’t mention the name of the judge. The verdict in this case was made by judge Valentina Pavlicic.
Bojic thinks that Katnic “by devoting so much of his time to just one lawyer he tried to destroy his integrity by using out of context what were clearly metaphores and putting them into context in which they become horrible threats”. Lawyer Bojic said that “nails in the coffin” are a metaphor for the evidence that Vido Radjenovic gave to prosecutors. Bojic was explaining to Lazar’s wife Jelena that Vido as a cooperating witness is the one who legally “destroyed” Lazar. Second quote, “one head has to fly” was a “metaphorical threat”, as Bojic said.
He added that Katnic’s statement – that he won’t allow threats to go unpunished – “shows the tendency for autocracy, because the punishment is made by the court and not the prosecutor, regardless of how he calls himself”.
He added that he’s wondering what would happen if opinions and statements of Katnic would become public, ones that Katnic uses when speaking about his colleagues, and especially about his opponents.
„I am glad that Katnic said that he’s not afraid of anyone, because we obviously have the same personal attitude towards fear”, said Bojic.
