Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia Oleksandr Aleksandrovich has said that Russian services tried to assassinate the President of Montenegro several years ago.
“Let us recall what happened in Montenegro a few years ago with the participation of Russian intelligence services. They had in mind the assassination of the President of Montenegro”, Aleksandrovic said in an interview with Al Jazeera.
Although he did not specify that, Aleksandrovic obviously meant the events of 2016. He spoke about the tactics of the Russian Federation, as “blitzkrieg tactics”, and that this includes assassinations of presidents or heads of government.
