In light of the escalating conflict in the Middle East and the rapidly changing circumstances on the ground, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro has urged Montenegrin citizens to exercise additional caution and to seek timely information before planning or continuing travel to countries of that region.

The ministry advises Montenegro nationals already in affected countries to remain at their current locations, avoid unnecessary movement, and regularly follow official announcements issued by the authorities of the states in which they’re staying.

When it comes to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where certain commercial and charter flights have resumed, the ministry clarifies that the airspace remains restricted for broader traffic.

They remain in regular communication with Montenegro citizens in other Middle Eastern countries who have expressed interest in evacuation, through its diplomatic and consular missions.

Given the complexity of the situation, the ministry is reviewing all available options to support citizens and is considering further steps toward possible evacuation.
