„It is necessary to make some progress when we speak about election law. This law was adopted in 2014, but we’re still waiting for its practical application. We expect that on next year elections all elements of this law will be applied. I was assured by mister Milo Djukanovic that this will happen. We have excellent working relations and we use every chance possible to meet and exchange opinions”, said Hahn in an interview to Pobjeda.

According to his words many processes in Montenegro are moving forward, but there’s still more work to be done in chapters 23 and 24.

Asked if we receive NATO invitation by the end of this year what will it mean for European integrations of Montenegro Hahn emphasized that this will mean that progress has been made in rule of law, or that a part of the reforms requested by the EU has been completed.

„That will definitely be a positive signal”, he said.
