The Podgorica High Prosecutor’s Office has stated that after an investigation into Danilo Mandic, the case has been submitted to the Podgorica Basic Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
They add that there were no elements of a criminal offence – attempted murder – but that based on evidence, another criminal offence was committed – causing general danger, serious bodily injury and unlawful keeping of weapons and explosives.
“Having in mind that the mentioned criminal offences fall under competence of the basic prosecutor’s offices, the case was forwarded to the Podgorica Basic Prosecutor’s Office,” the High Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has stated.
They also recall that the High Prosecutor’s Office issued an order for carrying out the investigation into Mandic on suspicion of committing an attempted murder in connection with unlawful keeping of weapons and explosives.
Following the analysis of the evidence, this prosecutor’s office has assessed that there were no elements of a criminal offence – attempted murder – for which they previously opened the investigation.
