The Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Zoran Lazarevic, has said today that it is true that he wrote to the members of the Defense and Security Council, because the Minister of Defense, Dragan Krapovic, forbade communication with the offices of the Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker, not with the President.
He states that he is convinced that Krapovic and, as he says, someone else with him are deliberately collapsing the defense and security system.
Lazarevic points out that Krapovic first justified the request for his dismissal with rejuvenation, now with other reasons.
“He shouldn’t lie. He undermines the system with party comrades. I will respect every decision”, says Lazarevic.
President Jakov Milatovic scheduled a meeting of the Defense and Security Council for tomorrow.
