Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic withdrew the act that stated the resignations of 17 MPs.
The withdrawal came after the parliamentary session continued without a prior appointment.
“Respecting the opposition and all those people who want the procedure to be respected, I withdrew that act, so on Wednesday, when the Parliament resumes, we will state these MPs’ resignations and then the State Election Commission will do its job”, Mandic said.
He pointed out that his clear goal was for the Parliament to continue in full composition, and not to obstruct its work in any way, because the long-awaited progress was needed.
