“We have repeatedly called our opposition colleagues and invited to meetings in writing. They have either ignored us or have not responded, whereas they accepted the first Milo Djukanovic’s call. We have proved that the negotiations and the politics of politeness are not the means for achieving fair and free elections against a dictator and an autocrat such as the prime minister,” Medojevic said for CdM.
He has also commented on the fact that no opposition parties will support their protests which are to be held on Saturday in Podgorica.
“They have never believed in the protests,” he has said.
“In their huge hopes and expectations to outwit Milo Djukanovic through negotiations, our colleagues probably have forgotten that we have been protesting since September last year. These protests are not new,” Medojevic said.
He also wonders how the DF could join potential protests of the rest of the opposition – if they happened.
“How can we join them? We have been protesting since 27 September. Who should we join to? They can only join the politics and protests of the DF, which they used to disparage,” Medojevic said.
He has also said that he expects several thousand people at the protests in Podgorica scheduled for 27 February.
