More than a third Montenegro citizens, that is, 34% of them, are saving money in some kind of a way, suggests the research of Stars Up conducted in collaboration with the global company Kantar TNS, as Dan daily put it.

The largest number of respondents said they are not saving, as there are no ways for doing it.

Sanja Baltić, executive director of the Montenegrin Agency ‘Stars Up’, told Dan daily that in terms of the age, Montenegrins of 40 years of age save the most.
According to her, 47% of them possess university degree and are full time workers.

“54% of respondents earning salaries of EUR 700 are saving money, while those earning EUR 800 or even more are all saving,” she noted.
