After CdM published an article titled “Joanikije dismissed priest Mitrovic, Minister’s brother” and clearly stated that it was taken over from another media, the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral (MCP) reacted with a clear statement of the source. However, the MPC did not deny the allegations from that text, but used the reaction to attack CdM.
In its reaction, it claims that it rejects all insinuations, and that CdM’s writing is incorrect and malicious.
It is obvious that the MCP intends to deal with CdM by presenting unsubstantiated qualifications, because it was clearly stated and visible that this is not the author’s text of CdM, but information carried from another media. The media close to the MCP also published this reaction and targeted CdM, although they saw that the text was taken over.
Before the reaction, the MPC had to read who the source of the information was. Thus, the suspicion remains that the Metropolitan deliberately targeted CdM, for reasons known only to it and animosity towards CdM.
