Having regard to the new COVID-19 circumstances, Mayor of Podgorica, Mr Ivan Vuković, rendered a new decision defining set of measures of the Capital City to support economic activities.
In that context, Administration of Local Income will enable 100% reduction of the amount of local public utility tax for setting up summer garden, indoor garden, other temporary facilities that can be replaced and for promotional purposes.
A 50% reduction in the amount of local public utility tax refers to setting up summer garden, indoor garden, other temporary facilities that can be replaced and for promotional purposes for the period between 1 June and 30 September 2020. For the use of space in circumstances provoked by coronavirus, a 90% reduction has been envisaged.
Taxpayers may refer to the Administration for Local Income with the request for reduction via post office or on email: uljp@podgorica.me.
In addition, the Decision envisages that Secretariat for Public Utility Affairs shall approve of the establishment of new and extension of the existing summer gardens, other temporary facilities that can be replaced and for promotional purposes until 30 September 2020, in areas that are in the ownership of the Capital City.
