The opposition is firmly of the opinion that the role of the Constitutional Court has been taken over in the Parliament, with the aim of not holding the election process, says the representative of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Andrija Nikolic.
“None of these people are comfortable or happy to participate in session interruptions, but there is no way to deal with people who trample on the Constitution and citizens. The only division is constitutional destroyers and constitutional defenders. We will not retreat in front of the demolishers”, said Nikolic at the press conference held at the Parliament.
Yesterday’s decision of the Constitutional Court speaks convincingly in support of the fact that the Constitution was violated in the Parliament, Nikolic stressed.
“The responsibility is not on the opposition, but on the violent parliamentary majority”, he added.
The biggest deception, lie and untruth is that by not voting on the budget, citizens will stop receiving salaries and pensions, said URA MP Milos Konatar.
“The Constitutional Court confirmed that the MPs knowingly violated the Constitution. If any of us do not like the decisions of the Constitutional Court, should we take over its responsibilities?! That’s not the rule of law, that’s anarchy! In order to mask it, a new narrative is starting”, said SD MP Boris Mugosa.
It seems grotesque that Andrija Mandic is giving lessons about the European path, he pointed out.
