The political crisis in Montenegro is mostly reflected on tourism, because tourist workers have been left to their own devices as of 30 August 2020, since their 42nd and 43rd governments did not support them with a single cent. Montenegro is facing the Greek scenario due to borrowings and unrealistic budget, says Zarko Radulovic, the president of the Montenegrin Tourism Association, for Gradska TV.
He has commented on the new debt of Montenegro, stating that we have long been at risk zone.
“I would be happy to say that the borrowing amounts to only €100m, because it is hundreds of millions of euros that will be needed (…). The budget is not realistic and the day we adopt it we will already be €350m in the red”, says Radulovic.
