After the adopted technical budget, the Government plans to appear present in Parliament the essential one at the end of July. Former Minister of Finance Milojko Spajic says for TVCG that after what they left behind, it is not necessary to think about a substantial revised budget or about a new indebtedness. In support of that, says Spajic, are the figures that the current minister Aleksandar Damjanovic published for the first quarter.
“The facts show that the Ministry of Finance published official data – a deficit of 0.7% in 4 months, 3% last year”, says Spajic.
While Damjanovic announces a new loan so that we can get through the year, Spajic claims that this is not necessary, either.
“For the first 4 months, there were €70m more income than we planned, so I do not see the need for a substantial revised budget or additional borrowing. If you remember, we said in the budget law that we would borrow €70m for majority amendments and there is no need for the revised budget or the borrowing”, says Spajic.
