Spajic: I welcome opposition’s initiative for joint work, amendments to Constitution and Law on Dual Citizenship won’t happen without broadest consensus

Prime Minister Milojko Spajic has welcomed the opposition’s initiative towards the parliamentary majority to establish a constructive dialogue and efficient work of Parliament.

“The renewal of the work of the Comprehensive Electoral Reform Committee and the joint work of the government and the opposition to close Chapters 23 and 24, which is stated in the opposition’s demands, is certainly high on the agenda of Montenegro’s accelerated path to the European Union,” said Spajic.

The Prime Minister also fully agrees with the position that amendments to the Constitution and the Law on Dual Citizenship will not happen without the broadest consensus, which is part of the Barometer 26 platform, which was supported by all members of the ruling majority, and which is still on the table of the opposition.
