Tatazinska reminded that there isn’t a lot of time left until the decision making and that is why it is of key importance to continue with efforts in reaching the standards necessary for full membership in the Alliance.
Poland, as she added, strongly supports membership of Montenegro in NATO, which was also confirmed by the minister of foreign affairs of Poland Gregor Schetina during his visit to Montenegro.
“Of course, the decision on the membership has to be made by all countries members of NATO unanimously and at that moment the level of fulfilled criteria for membership will be considered”, said Tatazinska to Pobjeda.
According to her there isn’t much time left for the decision to be made. That is why it’s of key importance to continue with efforts in reaching the standards necessary for full membership in the Alliance.
“In the end, however, it all depends on the activities of the authorities and societies in the countries aspiring for membership and their efforts to achieve best results. Decision will be made after detailed consideration of readiness for joining, on a minister’s meeting in December”, said Tatazinska.
