Do you want Budva in your city?
This is what every normal person should ask themselves before voting on Sunday. Especially those who rush to vote for URA, carried away by the “young and unsullied” leader Rakcevic, currently employed in the Prime Minister’s cabinet. People should understand that there are no more innocent people in Montenegrin politics and that URA has been part of the corrupt ruling political establishment for more than six years. Ever since they came to power and the became part of combinations in Kotor, Budva and other places, they got involved in all the dirt that the government carries with it. And they feel quite well in that mud. They employed relatives and party members, and many of them today live at the expense of taxpayers, while doing nothing. In addition, there are well-founded suspicions that many of them are corrupt not only in this way, but also in terms of organized criminal activity, and we had the opportunity to hear about this recently.
Many were not interested in Budva when in 2017 I already started to warn that it was continuing with the patterns of behavior that were characteristic of the DPS-SDP government, for which it was replaced. I warned that URA will be used to facilitate a transitional government, which will eventually lead to a predominantly Serbian government in the city. And that happened. I will try to briefly explain what Budva is today:
Savages and street people, thugs, got to the positions of directors and officials. They deal with workers physically. They greet each other in companies with “May God help you!” so dare you not answer with “May God help you too!”. What is interesting is that many of the worst from DPS have turned their coats, so now they are stalking and conducting a witch hunt against yesterday’s party colleagues. Imagine a man who voted for the removal of the DPS government in Budva, when he is greeted in the municipal corridors by the new/old rulers who overnight turned from fierce Montenegrins into super-Serbs.
In addition, some who hung Montenegrin flags on their houses after 30 August and went to Belveder, have joined URA. I can’t understand this. How can someone, who swallowed Dritan’s tear gas, turn their coat so easily. In the photos, next to Dritan, I can also see local moneylenders, who used to work diligently for DPS, and would warn me on their own initiative when I was leading my fight relating to the Queen’s Beach.
Today, if you take a walk in Budva, you will see what the marginalization of the civic block means. Almost all billboards and street advertising spaces in general, which belong to the municipality, have been taken over by Democrats and DF. The city is dominated by the photographs of Milo Bozovic and Dragan Krapovic – Serbian Chetniks and Serbian Communists, who, despite numerous differences, know very well that 1918 is a legacy that should be respected. That’s why they paid with municipal money for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of annexation in 2018, which they attended together. Now they don’t talk, they remembered Krapovic and the shooting of Chetniks from Budva in Bar. They hope that they will not need the Democrats and that they will be able to form a government with URA.
But let me not dwell on this topic. This is where we are divided as a society. Let’s see what we are all interested in, the quality of life. What have they done in these six years? Bozovic is again announcing projects, a promenade and a hospital. Hooray for Mr. Mijovic, Petrovac resident only at the weekend, who announces the separation of the Municipality of Petrovac. They promised all that six and ten years ago. There is no mention of the promenade over Grdjevica, removing concrete from plans, parks and greenery. In six years, they built a couple of roundabouts, a fountain on the bypass, repaired a couple of sports fields and paved kilometers of roads. They asphalted them because the asphalt business was run by the former mayor. That asphalt is of such quality that everything is almost falling apart.
Budva is entered into elections by a forced administration headed by an agent of the Kremlin, a certain Nebojsa Juskovic. Go to his Facebook profile to see what I’m talking about. Everything explodes from the meeting with the Russian patriarch, Putin’s apparatchiks and Caucasian leaders.
The school that was led by the former DPS official, and now the holder of the URA list, Ivan Ivanovic, is still in a disastrous state. It’s the only high school in the richest municipality in the country!
And all this is happening, while the city is still swimming in feces and flooding with every bit of heavy rain.
The only thing that has changed is that the former DPS-SDP municipal elite has been replaced by a new elite, which now collects data on eligible and ineligible voters. Only this time it is recorded who is Orthodox and who is not.
All in all, it’s a great Serbian fairground, a city from which under the motto of protecting the Cyrillic alphabet, the Latin alphabet is pushed out, a city where every Chetnik and extremist is welcome, a city where what I write can be fatal.
My dear Bjelopavlici residents in Danilovgrad, as well as the residents of Podgorica, Bar, Savnik, Zabljak, Pljevlja, Kolasin, Plav, Rozaje, Bijelo Polje and Zeta, think about what you have to do. There is no going back after Sunday. Hear from friends and relatives from Budva or Tivat. Let them tell you for themselves what their local government is like. Ask yourself if it is enough for you to live in such a Montenegro.
