According to the data provided by the Central bank of Montenegro, value of the payment transactions for 22 working days amounted 1,19 billion EUR, which is almost 27 % more in comparison to February.
Around 94,76 % of transactions was carried out in Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) and the rest was carried out in the Net Deferred Settlement system.
In the RTGS system, individual payment transactions are conducted among the participants, adhering to the gross principle in real time, whereas in the Net Deferred Settlement system, interbank payment transactions are conducted applying the net principle, in deferred time.
