The Capital Assembly councilors discussed at today’s session the Proposed Decision on the Capital’s Budget for 2021, by which the incomes in the city treasury, together with the initial deposit, are planned in the amount of €93,457,000, which is a rise by 4.30 percent in comparison to this year, the Capital’s Administration announced.
The planned amount of own-source revenues is planned at €48,915,000 and make up 52.34 percent of the planned total. Assigned revenues are expected to amount to €14,226,000, €12,500,000 will be transferred from the previous year, while €8,296,000 are planned to be obtained from the loan. Transfers from the state budget are projected at €100,000, and a donation of €9,420,000 euros is expected, which is solely aimed at the construction of a wastewater treatment plant with the supporting infrastructure.
As for the expenditure side of the budget, €36,531,000 will be allocated for current budget spending, €5,990,000 for debt repayment, whereas €54.50 percent of revenues, i.e. €50,936,000, will be allocated for investments and development of the city.
Podgorica Mayor, Mr Ivan Vuković, said that this year records surprisingly good budgeting and that Podgorica will continue developing, as projects the aim of which is the improvement of the citizens’ quality of life will be carried out.
